I was expecting a delivery on Friday between 10:45am and 1:45pm with a call meant to be given 30mins before delivery. Which is why I'm changing my review rating from a 1 star to a 3 star (on it's own, I'd give customer service a 5 stars) ** ** UPDATE - though the call centre customer service needs improvement, the customer service I received from after emailing him about these issues was absolutely OUTSTANDING! And I do truly appreciate his amazingly prompt and efficient response. I will never buy furniture from any store again that uses Unitrans as their delivery company. Appalling service, arrogance and a complete disregard for one's customers. Whilst the delivery after arrival, unpacking and removal of waste was excellent, the whole experience of booking the delivery was atrocious. The day of delivery I was called at 10.37am to confirm a delivery time of between 11.15am and 11.45am. I immediately called Freedom furniture who managed to arrange for a Saturday delivery in 2 days time. She also stated that this Saturday was unavailable for delivery so I was looking at a 9 day wait. They refused to listen to reason so I had to cancel the delivery, as recommended by the lady on the phone. I called Unitrans again and I received the same message about no requests for delivery times due to their routing requirements. I received the text and it stated 8am-11am was the delivery time. Read more the timing text in 2 days time. I went around in circles like this for some 20 minutes and she recorded my request of between 10am to 4pm and said to wait until I received. The first words out of the woman on the phone were "we don't negotiate delivery times". As I live in an apartment building, I was limited as to when I could receive deliveries of this size. I chose one and then called 3 days prior to confirm a time. I am very disappointed in Unitrans customer service.Īfter receiving a text alerting me to the arrival of the furniture I had waited 4 months for I was directed to choose between 2 delivery dates - both weekdays. I have sent an email to Unitrans again with no response as yet, I am not holding out hope for a response considering the track record thus far. When I phoned the WA contact number for Unitrans earlier in the week to check it would be on its way the lady told me there was no package under my name I asked her if she wanted the tracking number to check and she said no just your name. I emailed Unitrans 19/4 and had no reply (still haven’t had a reply), subsequently I emailed Adairs, who had wonderful response times, yet still took several weeks to find the package was MIA. This is the second time I have had this order dispatched from Adairs, the first time I waited the 30 days with no delivery or update, I was patient as I understand there have been delays.
